We did this in my history discussion class to get to know one another. It was pretty fun to see what people came up with so I'm posting it here.

Consider the following questions:
If you could meet any historical figure, who would it be?
And if you could ask that person one question and get an honest answer, what would you ask?
Why? (can omit if you want)

Examples from my class:
Justin Timberlake - Can I be your girlfriend? - Because you're gorgeous.
Neil Armstrong - What was it like on the moon? - Because part of me thinks it was all a hoax.
Martin Lurther King, Jr. - How did you deal with the stress? - Because us college students could all use a lesson in that department.

Mine:
Who: King Henry VIII
Question: Was it really worth it?
Why: If you were going to go against the church and divorce it just seems easier to go against them and practice polygamy. Just a thought.
