Title: [S]June Xaviers

June Xaviers - April 14, 2009 01:48 AM (GMT)
Name: June Sparrow Xaviers
Age: Fifteen
Bloodline: Pure blood
Physical Appearance:
Oh yes, June hated being the height she was, at only five foot two and not growing any taller. A natural white blond, with fly away hair making her look like a ghost or a dreamy person, June had made sure she went to the beach to get a tan, such as to not seem so…pale, or pasty. However, winter never seems to be on her side, as she quickly loses her tan in the colder months and turns a pretty sort of pale, except whenever she looks in the mirror, she sees pasty. Unlike the rest of her family, June is the only one not to have blue or gray eyes, instead, her large orbs are a sort of…hazel brown color, like creamy chocolate with golden flecks. She is slim and as she is not built for brawn, she relies on her speed to get her away from any…trouble.

June tends to be a bit rebellious when it comes to dressing up. She always found a way to make her uniform an ‘organized mess’ as she liked to call it; her tie was always loose, her shirt not tucked in properly, sometimes even forgetting to do up her cuffs, oh the list went on. Nobody could deny it looked good on her, and no matter how many times they told her to fix it, she’d come back, the same way it was before.

Outside of school was a different matter, June’s mother liked to dress her up; like playing doll. June, however, tended to like jeans, a shirt, trainers and a sleeveless hoodie, or a sleeved hoodie, it didn’t really matter.

Personality:
June is always stubborn. That was the first trait that anybody picked out from talking to her. If anybody dared her to do anything, she’d do the dare until it was done properly, and if there was money involved, it was all the more important to win. Yes, June hated to lose.

The second thing anybody would pick out, was her sarcasm. If one said the wrong thing, her words would dive into a honey jar full of sarcasm and come straight back out, dripping with sarcasm. Ah yes, even when she thought nobody was listening, June muttered sarcastic comments under her breath.

Another trait, was that June was fierce, it didn’t take much to test her temper, especially if the person testing it wasn’t her friend. If the person didn’t back off after hearing the ever mounting load of sarcasm, they were in for a shouting at. June was loud when she really wanted to be, and usually people would piss off after that, but sometimes a person does actually get to the part where violence gets involved.

There are some good points about June; and it was just for her own safety that she looked like a dreamy, innocent kid who wouldn’t hurt a fly. Although she hates the stereotype of her image, she cannot deny that she does have a very active imagination. However; nobody does expect her to be a stubborn, sarcastic little girl, who absolutely loves dares.

Character Background:

Born in Australia, June grew up in a rather large family; being the second youngest child of five kids, she has great bonds with her older siblings. Her mother tends to lavish affection on her younger brother and herself, as she often thinks her eldest children are lost causes. Ever since she was young, she has been fussed over by her mother, when she really prefer that she would kindly…go away. Her father would teach her to stay away from Muggleborns, and her mother would teach her to just be herself, even if it meant making friends with Muggleborns. This was the only subject on which her mother and father disagreed.

At the age of ten, her father decided it would be best to move back to England, for the sake of June’s education at Hogwarts, and following her, her brother; who was eight at the time of the move. Although June really didn’t want to move from such a sunny place to a colder place, her mother agreed.

So when June got the letter, she really wasn’t surprised; but yes, a thrill did pass through her. She did wonder what house she’d be in, her mother being a Ravenclaw and her father being from Slytherin. She did wonder if it mattered on the family.

Roleplay Sample:

June hadn’t expected company in her compartment on the way to Hogwarts. Her dreamy-looking demeanour usually scared people off, or made her seem hard to talk to. Funnily enough, June wasn’t hard to talk to; she thrived off conversation, really. She wanted to talk about, well, the sorting really. But it was a surprise to her when some other kids asked her if they could join her. I guess there mustn’t be space anywhere else, but she had agreed to share.

What surprised her even more was when they actually talked to her about the sorting. From the sounds of it, one of them seemed to think she, the girl, was going to get in Hufflepuff. She was telling the rest of them how the rest of her family was in Hufflepuff and how her younger sister would also get into Hufflepuff and continue the Hufflepuff line. June didn’t think she’d want to be in Hufflepuff, yellow wasn’t exactly her color. Not to mention, her daddy spent a lot of his time telling her that she shouldn’t aim for Hufflepuff, but for other houses. Daddy wanted her in Slytherin, and mummy just wanted her to be herself.

The train came to a screeching halt, jolting June out of her seat.

Stepping off the train; well, for June, it was like playing hide and seek back home. Her elder siblings would deliberately make a sort of mist, or smoke, as to make it more challenging. It was fun, until her mother banned it, saying it was bad for her babies’ lungs. Everyone knew, that when her mother said ‘babies’ June was included in that lot; as for the rest of them, they came under the heading of ‘lost causes’. They, her siblings, all eyed her pitifully, as her mother dragged her out of the game and back into the house.

This is my home now, she told herself, pushing the unwanted thoughts of her family to the back of her mind. As she rested her eyes on the faraway castle, June was amazed. She wasn’t exactly one to like fairytales, but the castle could have made any Princess-stuck-castle story loving girls drool.

June did not drool.

She was stunned of course, it was a beautiful place and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. “Wow,” June whispered, “Wow.” Ah yes, the award winner of the spelling bee competitions of her primary school could only manage to say one word at that moment. June Xaviers had been rendered, almost speechless.

Sundari Harmony - April 14, 2009 02:05 AM (GMT)
Congratulations! You have been sorted into Slytherin. Welcome to Wizarding Realm!

In light of the fact that you are new, here are a few bits of information that will help you on your journey to greatness. :)

Introduction Topic: One of the greatest ways to get to know other members (aside from RPing of course) is to make an intro topic. You can do that here. Post so that you may be properly welcomed!

The Ranking System: In an effort to help you reach your greatest writing potential, WR has instituted ranks. You start out as a beginner. Once you create three topics and put your application up for review, you will most likely be bumped up to novice. Once you reach that level, more forums in Hogwarts open up to you. Such as... the plotting pages and the journals. After that, you can pursue higher ranks; They are Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite. More detailed information and applications can be found here.

The Clash: Fast forward several years into the future, after your character has graduated from Hogwarts and had a little time to live. Two groups, The Guardians and Vesithe, are at war with each other. Another group called the Vigilante are neutral and work to stop the fighting. This is an ongoing plot that is seperate from the rest of the WR Roleplaying. You must have 50 posts to join, but that's not that hard! :P

Other Information: The signature limit is currently 500x250. Annnd colors are not to be used in your roleplaying posts. We have a skin changer and several different color skins. What might look good on one skin could be unreadable on another. Oh oh, and if you are already a member of WR, and have not gotten permission for having this character from Sundari Harmony, you better do so quick or feel her wrath. xD

Thanks so much for joining and we all hope to see you stay!
