On a lighter note, I have a party today followed by prom tonight. I got me my Calvin Klein tux and so I'm ready to be kickass :D

James~ Just between you and me, I'm not particularly fond of waffles IRL, either. But the way I see it, that means more waffles will be left in this world for people who really enjoy them! So it isn't all bad. =)

On a separate note, I really want to go to the anime convention this weekend, but I can't. One of my best friends invited me upon realising that we wouldn't be able to go see Star Trek until next weekend and I'm kind of sad that I can't go. Because there's some really awesome stuff there, even if you aren't totally into anime.

But I'll get over it. I'm going to see Star Trek next weekend with my sister, one of my best friends and probably at least one or two other people! I'm really excited for that because I haven't seen it yet!!!

Well, I will be going to see it in exactly two hours. I'm sort of excited. I mean, I want to see it, but I'm still sore from dancing for four hours straight last night at prom so I want to just lay in bed all day and soak my feet in some nice hot water. If this laptop was waterproof I would so soak in a nice hot bath and RP :P

By the way, I deflect those angry waffles with my happy toaster strudels.

'Tis okay, I'm not a senior yet :D I'm just taking my friend because she doesn't date and wants me to be ~in on this.

Lucky you, prom seems a little silly though spending all that money >.<

It wasn't so expensive! My dress was pretty cheap for a new one, limo wasn't too much, I paid for my half of the ticket, but that was all!

And it was FUN :D The Yacht Club as so pretty. They had it done up really nicely! I'm gonna have a photo with my "date" to put up in a few weeks, along with massive amounts of other snapshots.

-ish jealous of all the prommies- I miss prom. It can definitely be expensive or cheap. It all depends on you. My first prom I spent $300 on just my dress. It was GORGEOUS though. Then I bought jewelry, shoes, and my share of the limo was $90. But my date paid for tickets and dinner. ^^ Then my second prom I got a dress for free, bought some new jewelry, limo was only like $40, and then my date paid for tickets and dinner again.

Mine was always really cheap. I actually borrowed a dress from one of my friends (she'd worn it to something else formal and didn't want to wear it again, so she let me borrow it). My mom did my make-up and my younger sister did my hair.

This year, I paid $130. My portion of the limo was $40, dress was $55, and the ticket (my half) was $35. My hair's short and I didn't need it done, and I didn't bother with makeup. :D Next year I'll probably spend more on everything, but that's okay. Next year's MY year, dammit!

yah know...it isn't awesome when you have a concert in about 3 hours....and your oboe is brokie! :( .....but it's cool beans sort of cause that key didn't really bother me anyway! :lol:

Oh gosh, I played oboe for a couple semesters in band, and that is hard. I'll stick with my picc :)
