Physical Appearance:
Matthew Starkry stands at a height of 5’11’’ and weighs 144.3 lbs. The young man is naturally tan and has a lean body with well toned muscles that he had achieved through well balanced diet and carefully planned physical training. His hair appears to be black but if one looks carefully, he would see that the hair colour is actually of the darkest brown. The hair is allowed to fall freely and thus the fringe usually reaches the young wizard’s eyes. Furthermore, his hair is both smooth and soft due to extra effort in put in to have them properly washed and conditioned. As such, his beautiful dark hair is something which he is exceptionally proud of. His hazel brown eyes and cherry red lips are placed on an olive-shaped face. All in all, his gorgeous features are comparable to those of a lady.

Being a half-blood and having lived amongst the Muggles for most of his childhood, young Matthew was taught how to dress like a normal Muggle from his non-magical father. As such the young man has adopted a plain white, v-shaped collar shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans to be his regular outfit. Being exceptionally intolerant to the cold, the young wizard also wears a black hooded jacket to keep himself warm. On both of his feet, the young man wears a pair of sports shoes which completes his whole fashion theme of ‘Simple is Beautiful’. Matthew accessorized himself by wearing a silver ring on his left fore finger with the word "Secrets" craved upon the silver metal.

However when young Matthew goes with his Mother to magical gatherings of his maternal relatives, he will dress appropriately as how every young wizard would. In school, he usually wears his usual white shirt and dark blue jeans on the inside while his regular Hogwarts robe on the outside. Therefore, young Matthew will look like a regular young wizard if one does not take into account of his gorgeous features.

Personality:
Matthew Starkry appears to be approachable and carefree. A warm smile can always be found on his face even when confronted by strangers. However, the smile is merely a faced to hide his true emotions from others. Matthew finds it difficult for him to trust the people around him especially when he just met them. As such, the smile acts as a barrier to keep others away from truly understanding him. Therefore it usually takes him a relatively long time and a great deal of effort before he can actually have faith in new found friends. However, once the young wizard acknowledges that the other is a true friend, he will trust his friends with his life and aid his friend with all his might.

The young wizard is confident of his own ability but he never boasts nor brags about them to others. Being a half-blood wizard, he shuns the companies of arrogant pure-bloods who think that others are rubbish compared to their own lineage. In a way, this resulted in him having prejudicial judgment against the pure-blood witches and wizards. However the young man is a procrastinator who seeks to savor every precious moment in life. As such, his priorities may sometimes be placed in the wrong area. Nevertheless, he will always rise to the occasion when his friends need him.

Character Background:
The Magical World had never felt very distant to young Matthew Starkry even if he had been living amongst Muggles ever since he could remember. Well, before going into the life of young Matthew, we should take a step back and take a look on how a Witch fell in love with a Muggle.

Roland Starkry was an average man in all sense. He looked average, dressed average and even had an average job. He was never lucky in his life, not in lottery, not in scratch-and-win cards, not in anything. If there was one thing admirable about him, it would be his optimistic attitude that never seemed to fade even in the darkest hour. On the other hand, Christine Wumblefeather, the love of his life, was everything but him. A fine-looking and elegant lady with exceptional talents in whatever she did. Her beauty was so alluring that no man could say no to her request. Though no one really knew where she came from, rumours had it that she was the daughter of wealthy royal family. Roland Starkry saw the difference between his social position and the lady he loved, however he was not keen to give up to social conventions. Touched by his determination and true love, Christine accepted his wedding proposal. As such, the couple lived happily ever after, or did they? There was a secret that Christine hid and it was not revealed till the birth of their first born son.

On the 23rd of September, the day on which his first child, Matthew was born, Mr. Roland Starkry discovered a secret that would utterly change his life. A non-magical folk such as Roland, or a Muggle as how the magical community to term them, it was hard to believe that Magic actually existed in the world. So you could probably imagine the shock that he had when he realized that the love of his life was actually a witch. However the love between Roland and Christine enabled them to overcome the differences.

Young Matthew Starkry grew up in the embrace of two different worlds. One of which was the world of machines and technology while the other was a world of magic and wonders. Matthew was greatly influenced by the Muggle’s way of living. This was mainly due to the fact that the family of three lived in a small, cozy apartment amongst the non-magical folks in London. Therefore to hide the secrets of their magical prowess, the young Matthew adopted the Muggle’s way of life which included their fashion sense and knowledge to technology. The young Starkry did well to relate to the boys of his age as well. While Matthew appears to be regular Muggle boy, the boy had his opportunity to attend magical functions as well. Even though Christine was married to a Muggle, her parents treated her all the same and pampered their grandson like how all grandparents would. They had nothing to pick on young Matthew since the child had shown great potential in his magical abilities. However there was one thing they did try to change about him and that was the way he dressed, though they never did succeed since the child’s preference over Muggle clothing was way too strong.

Nothing particular really came up in Matthew’s life. He was a regular wizard who juggles his school work well and works hard whenever there was a need to do so. Thus, he was able to get good grades for his examinations. An additional note to point out would be that the young wizard enjoys flying ever since he was a child. Even though he was not an exceptional flyer, he always put his best foot forward whenever it came to flying. Combining his love of soccer and his love of flying, Quidditch became his favorite sport.
