Hello all! Those of you who know me, I'm back from France, and have access to Internet once again. This means that I can finally resume being an active part of WR, which I have missed. Those of you who I haven't met yet, please allow me to introduce myself; I'm John, and this is Saul. Saul's the Muggle Studies professor here on WR, and tends to hold a lot of classes with discussion-focused lectures that tackle issues that affect both the Muggle and Wizarding worlds.

I decided to announce my return here since I'd dearly love to dive back in with some new plots, and meet some new characters. I'll post a few facts about Saul and some hooks below, but I'm really a pretty adaptable RPer and would love to hear any of your ideas anyway. So without further ado, a short intro...

Saul's an old lefty (you'll find his book list includes authors like Keynes and Hobsbawm as much as more magical titles), which sometimes leads to conflict in his classes. Any RPers out there with a yen for politics are more than welcome to drop me a message or a tag, and Saul will be all too happy to argue or agree.

An aspect of Saul that I've really been concentrating a lot on, however, is his rather shady past. This is emerging both in Clash and normal threads, in the form of old criminal contacts making new overtures and relics of Saul's more 'adventurous' days cropping up. These threads have proven to be excellent environments for developing character traits.

Other than that, anybody with cool ideas for classes, meetings or threads in general, please don't hesitate to drop me a PM or reply to this thread. Thanks for reading, and it's great to be back.
