So I was looking through Raven's plot and I realized...she really never had anyone she actually hated. Disliked, yes, was annoyed by, yes, was intimidated by, yes, yes, and yes, but never an actual enemy. This was justified by the fact that she likes to fade out of view, basically keeping herself in the background to avoid making enemies.
But...maybe that's time that didn't work, hmm?
A little bit about Raven. She's a Slytherin fifth year. She's also a blood traitor in a sense, because she's a pureblood that doesn't have anything against Muggle-borns. But because she's a Slytherin, she avoids associating with them in the public eye. It's pretty much one of her secrets. She doesn't actively participate in harrassing them, but she doesn't exactly act like a friend to all the world either.
Her entire family is made up of Ravenclaws. She's the only Slytherin in her immediate family.
Lately, I've been thinking about making her take a few steps forward and become a little more open about her views on things, so it's possible that while she's doing this, she could actually make an actual enemy. Whoever it is probably wouldn't be enemies with her right from the start, it would have to be something that needs to be built up.
Any takers?
P.S: While we're at it, she could use a really good friend or even a love interest, if you're interested in building that sort of thing up, please post here too. Thank you.
I'll offer Donovan up for something. He's a fifth year Gryffindork whose cousins are all in Slytherin and I'll post more here once I have a bit more time to think. I'm actually heading back to class in the next five minutes. *sigh*
If you're looking for some conflict with a non-student, Saul is always available to be a general-purpose curmudgeon. We had a cool thread way-back-when, so I think Raven and Saul could have some interesting interactions.
@Eli
Sure, just let me know when you have an idea ^_^
@Saul...whose name escapes me *sweatdrop*
Yeah, I remember that. That might be interesting. xD What sort of conflict were you thinking of?
No worries (John, btw). I dunno, I'll be starting a class thread soon enough, I daresay, so you can always jump on that. Otherwise, you can just tag me in almost any generic opening and we can make conflict happen.
Raven will be taking Muggle Studies this term, so that should be interesting. We'll see what happens. ^_^
