Title: Paintball say what?
Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 05:05 AM (GMT)
So yeah, how we goin to do this? :D
I say we have teams of two, possibly three or four.
Then, we hide around the castle. There will of course be casualties....poor unarmoured students....
:D
Wesley Cotter - January 18, 2010 05:09 AM (GMT)
WES IS IN WES IS IN!!!!! FOR THE TEAM OF ALMIGHTLY LIONS.
And Landon, for the Awesome Team of Badgers. Unless someone else wants it more. I'm all for Gryffindor in this. xDD
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 05:09 AM (GMT)
Lorcan, Elena and Rei are totally in! House teams would work better than teams of three or four, me thinks. House teams, with sub divisions.
Or we can just go by friends across houses and whatnot. *nods*
Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 05:11 AM (GMT)
Well, I meant teams of three or four in the house. Like, three huffs, three ravies, so on and so forth.
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 05:14 AM (GMT)
Oh. *facepalm*
Well, my lovelies are definitely in. How do we take paintball and make it "wizard-like" though? >.>
Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 05:14 AM (GMT)
Hrm, I am quite sure there must be a spell somewhere that allows a wizard to propel paint from his or her wand :D
Ivory Vein - January 18, 2010 05:15 AM (GMT)
Ivy's in. *nod* Oh yes.
I say however many students want to participate in a House get to. I mean, it doesn't really matter since Gryffindor will pwn, but... ;D
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 05:18 AM (GMT)
NO! Gryffindor is going down. Case closed. SLYTHERIN FTW!
I'm sure there is a paint spell. If not, we make it up in true WR fashion. No canon, no problem. ^_^
Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 05:20 AM (GMT)
Okay, taking the direct latin translation of "project color" followed by the house colors, I did find something that may resemble a spell.
Hufflepuff: Exertus Cultum Crocus
Gryffindor: Exertus Crocum Rutilus
Ravenclaw: Exertus Crocum Puteulanus
Slytherin: Exrtus Crocum Viridis

Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 05:23 AM (GMT)
It would be cool if we could get a lot of people in on this though. Although, we couldn't have everyone because it would be cool to have bystanders post and be like wtf and covered in paint haha. Of course, it would have to be kept from teachers and goody goodies. Prefects should post something in each common room though, unless an admin would like to post in the announcements and have it be a site wide plot.
Ionno.
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 05:25 AM (GMT)
Site wide plots are awesome. I agree with adding bystanders though. It makes things more fun.
Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 05:28 AM (GMT)
Hrm, but we'd have to figure out the point of everything, and give people an incentive to join in. Perhaps there will be house points awarded for the most inventive uses of paint? And the house who scores the most after a certain time period will be crowned victors? Although....teachers won't know about it so house points hrm.....idk...
Sophia Stark - January 18, 2010 05:29 AM (GMT)
Can Georgie play? -is too lazy to read what was already said-
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 05:30 AM (GMT)
House points would be awesome, but I doubt the professors will like it. Then again, do the professors really matter when it comes to the OOC house point system? If so, we could always get a few of the more fun teachers in on it.
Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 05:31 AM (GMT)
Hrm, that's the point that slightly confuses me. I don't know how IC points and OOC points work haha. And yes Kae, anyone can join :D
Ivory Vein - January 18, 2010 05:32 AM (GMT)
I can post an announcement :)
Also, it would be difficult to determine who wins. A for-fun thing is always good, too =]
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 05:34 AM (GMT)
Perhaps the house with the post participants and posts wins? :)
Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 05:34 AM (GMT)
Yeah :D or we could have a post-a-thon thing for it. Like, paint something inside of another common room, paint three people of an opposing house all at once, or hit two bystanders by accident.
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 05:36 AM (GMT)
PATS ARE AWESOME!
It would so be awesome to have only a certain area designated for the paintball fun, then have a group of students sneak to another area of the school and totally bomb the place.
>.> Cause it made me giggle.
Ivory Vein - January 18, 2010 05:36 AM (GMT)
Hmmm.
Most participants - both bystanders and those that are involved - sounds okay. =]
Katherine Plummer - January 18, 2010 05:38 AM (GMT)
How the heck would someone get a bunch of paintball guns, aww nevermind, I'd love to play.
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 05:38 AM (GMT)
Squee! I need to start rallying Slytherin house pride.
Edit: @Katherine: We're using spells instead. They make paint shoot out his/her wand in their house color.
Wesley Cotter - January 18, 2010 05:41 AM (GMT)
>.> if it came to it, I'm sure Wes could find a way to get them into the castle. xDD
Katherine Plummer - January 18, 2010 05:43 AM (GMT)
I thought so, hey, we've got two Slytherin's, three Gryffindors, a Hufflepuff, we're missing a Ravenclaw.
Raven Silverflame - January 18, 2010 06:04 AM (GMT)
Toss in Raven if you want a third Slytherin!
And...if you can have multiple characters and are in need of a Hufflepuff, I've got Faith.
Sophia Stark - January 18, 2010 06:17 AM (GMT)
Hey, so, has anyone ever played
Gotcha? It's also known as a lot of other things, like Assassin. But I think it could really work well for this.
Seth Selstrom - January 18, 2010 07:36 AM (GMT)
DUDE! That actually sounds freakin amazing!
Charisse Mapplebeck - January 18, 2010 08:35 AM (GMT)
Lucy Winkleman - January 18, 2010 03:33 PM (GMT)
I'd throw Lucy in as a innocent bystander who gets hit! (she'd be too out of the loop - and doing something nerdy - to actually hear about this until she's splattered with paint) <_<
Zacharias Erikson - January 18, 2010 08:06 PM (GMT)
OoOo sounds interesting. you can count Zacky in. =D
Katherine Plummer - January 18, 2010 08:41 PM (GMT)
Two Slytherines, four Gryffindors, Two Ravenclaes, and a Hufflepuff. There's going to be primary colors everywhere when this is over. So where is it taking place?
Rei Stronski - January 18, 2010 08:53 PM (GMT)
@Hannah - Rei's gunning for Zac. Just saying. :)
Sophia Stark - January 18, 2010 09:15 PM (GMT)
Do we wanna do a free for all, or the Gotcha thing? Cause if we wanna make it Gotcha someone will have to assign targets (which I will gladly volunteer for).
Seth Selstrom - January 21, 2010 05:02 PM (GMT)
Hmm. As far as I know, Coco is running it by Sue before we do anything because she wants to put it in the announcements and make it an official site wide plot. So, until Sue says yay or nay, we'll have to just wait. I think the Gotcha thing would work well, although, I followed links around on that Wiki and came to Humans Vs. Zombies and have decided I'm starting a game of that at my school :D
