Physical Appearance: (no pictures*) Madelynn is of average height, around 5'6" tall. She is slender, but has an hourglass figure that many of her male peers swoon over. Madelynn has long straight blonde hair and huge blue eyes. Her complexion is pale, unblemished by freckles or imperfections, with the exception of a heart-shaped birthmark on her right shoulder. In summary, Madelynn is a classic beauty.
Personality: Madelynn is a bubbly, intelligent sixteen year old. She can hold a conversation about almost any topic, be it politics or the latest gossip, and offer a valid opinion on it. She is a bit conceited, and believes herself to be above some of her less beautiful, less intelligent classmates. However, she is extremely loyal to her friends and is usually friendly. She can be very sweet, but if she believe that someone has an attitude problem towards her, she can be very snippy. She is somewhat insecure despite her many physical, social, and mental gifts, and sometimes allows herself to be walked over by boyfriends/flings.
Character Background: Madelynn is the only daughter of Apollo and Joyce Pierce. They were overjoyed to welcome their "Little Angel" into the world, and have doted on her since birth. They live in a rather grand home in Godric's Hollow. Madelynn's father is a well-respected journalist with the Daily Prophet, and she takes advantage of the connections that he has. Madelynn's mother has no need to work, as Apollo has quite a cushy career; thus she plays the role of a demure housewife, agreeing with everything Apollo says and hosting marvelous parties for his friends. Madelynn grew up a spoiled little girl and is used to getting her way and never being spoiled. This caused some clashes with teachers when she first arrived at Hogwarts, but she's now calmed herself down and behaves herself quite nicely.

Desired House: I think Madelynn is best suited as a Ravenclaw. She's far too assertive to be a Hufflepuff, and she's not quite gallant enough to be a Gryffindor, yet she's not evil enough to be a Slytherin. So I think Ravenclaw is the best bet.

"Pierce, Madelynn." Madelynn glanced around, waiting for the next one of her classmates to approach the battered hat that the strange looking witch with the glasses held delicately at the front of the Great Hall. What seemed like an eternity passed, and students began to murmur. "Pierce, Madelynn," the witch repeated, beginning to look a bit irritated.
With a jolt, Madelynn realized that it was her turn to approach the stool and pull the hat over her head. Her heart beat so loudly that she swore the rest of the hall could hear, and she slowly walked up the wide aisle leading to the stool. "Sorry," she whispered to the witch, who merely peered at her sternly. "I didn't hear correctly the first time."
"Perhaps next time you should pay closer attention, Miss Pierce," the witch suggested quietly as she handed Madelynn the hat. Madelynn looked at her reproachfully as she sat down on the stool, then took a deep breath and tugged the hat over her blonde head.
"So... Madelynn Pierce," a voice hissed in her ear.
Who said that? Madelynn thought, terrified.
"I did," the voice chuckled. "Me. The Sorting Hat."
Oh, Madelynn thought, relieved. She relaxed a bit.
"Now... where to put you?" the hat mused. "Hmm... well. You're very ambitious, I can see that right away."
Yes, I'm very motivated, Madelynn thought helpfully.
"That you are... I don't think you're quite kind enough for Hufflepuff..."
I'm very kind! Madelynn thought indignantly.
"That's what you think," the hat retorted mockingly. "And while you've certainly got guts, you're not very chivalrous."
Chivalry's dead, Madelynn scoffed.
"Well with attitudes like that, that's no surprise," the hat sniffed. "Well. It's a toss up between Slytherin and Ravenclaw."
Well my whole family's been in Ravenclaw. They'd be happy if I got in there, Madelynn offered hopefully.
"Yes, I daresay they would be... however, my goal in life is not to make your family, Madelynn. It is to place students in the right House... Luckily, I think that your family and I are in agreement as to the right path for you.. RAVENCLAW!" the hat screamed.
The Ravenclaw table burst into applause and, grinning, Madelynn yanked the hat off of her head, tossed it to the witch, and took her place with her new home.

Okay, so here's a few suggestions about your application so that the admins can sort you.

What are some of her flaws? You've written Madelynn as pretty much perfect in both her physical appearance and personality - so is there anything that she's more insecure about than her "gifts" as you've put them? Why is she insecure? What made her that way? Is there anything in particular that she's specifically insecure about?

Another thing - try and run your RP post through Microsoft word. It'll fix all the formatting issues you have.

The Ranking System: In an effort to help you reach your greatest writing potential, WR has instituted ranks. You start out as a beginner. Once you create three topics and put your application up for review, you will most likely be bumped up to novice. Once you reach that level, more forums in Hogwarts open up to you. Such as... the plotting pages and the journals. After that, you can pursue higher ranks; They are Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite. More detailed information and applications can be found here.

The Clash: Fast forward several years into the future, after your character has graduated from Hogwarts and had a little time to live. Two groups, The Guardians and Vesithe, are at war with each other. Another group called the Vigilante are neutral and work to stop the fighting. This is an ongoing plot that is seperate from the rest of the WR Roleplaying. You must have 50 posts to join, but that's not that hard! :P

Other Information: The signature limit is currently 500x250. Annnd colors are not to be used in your roleplaying posts. We have a skin changer and several different color skins. What might look good on one skin could be unreadable on another.
