Hullo everyone, I'm finally sorted so I guess that means that I'm allowed to post now. And since its suggested, (who am I to go against suggestions?) I'm posting up a bit of an introduction.

I go by the screen name Darkarma which has been my second identity for the better potion of my online life. Please don't stress yourself over typing out Amatsunou, its a big complicated word, Darkarma is much easier. And at one point it was the first use that particular lettering as a name when I first came up with it. Now... Not so much but its still unique enough to be synonymous with me.

My interests probably are apparent by now, Books, Manga, Anime, Drawing, Writing, and a bit of the Japanese culture which I'm 1/16th of biologically (small but note worthy).

I tend to play unorthodox characters and since in real life (at least I hope so, never know I could be crazy) I'm male so I tend to stick with female. Guess that's one stereotype filled, an Otaku who likes playing with girls. But I love books as perhaps my greatest passion and have been reading Harry Potter fanfiction since Goblet of Fire came out in a hope to stave off the unending madness of my obsession with Harry Potter and the (insert witty title here). I am a Shipper so beware if you ask which, you may get an earful.

Currently working and half way through completing my Bachelors of Engineering and Design.

yes yes...introductions are always good!! They let us all...well..introduce ourselves! :D

ohhh...you sound just like many of my friends back in school...well that doesn't help seeing I'm still in school. But I have many a friends who love manga and all that! It is SO complicated for me sometimes, but I do adore it sometimes...it's all fun at conventions still. Oh yes I'm one of those people who likes to go to sci-fi/fantasy/etc conventions because I love my fellow nerds in their natural habitat. Course I usually go with Star Wars costumers but going off topic..

Oh and I also adore fanfictions...but not Harry Potter ones, not yet???, but others. They do make me giggle so often.

So yes! oh I forgot...I'm Emily! And I play Lucy here (obvious). We both welcome you!! She's a very nerdy bookworm, I wish I was that studious. I am learning more and more this year I am SO not that nerdy. But yes.

I bit open on Ships. Harry/Hermione can be cute and warm when its done right, but its hard. It has to be well refined for me to be able to read it. Harry/Ginny easy to do and for me to read, fan of bond fics in that respect. Like H/Hr, Ginny/Hermione was warm and cuddly as long as its done well otherwise it becomes like any other slash fic on FF.

DH actually had me leaning toward H/Hr when the two were alone and Ron had bugged out. Those were some intense and open chapters.

And I do plan to enjoy my stay.

Not gonna lie, anime and manga and all that befuddles me. Everyone I meet irl thinks I would be into that stuff for whatever reason and it confuses them when I say the only anime I have ever watched is Hamtaro. -shrug-

I'm also a weirdo because I love RPing original characters in established universes, but I do not like fanfics with canons. Can't do it. -shudders-

I dunno why I'm rambling so much. Hm.

OH. Just because YOU'RE new doesn't mean your character has to be. You can totally pretend your character has been here the whole time and have some established relationships with characters if you work those out with the players. And there's always NPC friends.

Hamtaro definately had its moe moments but I never really got into it despite my penchant to enjoy anime/manga well below my age group.

As for what kinds I like, Naruto is okay, don't care for the more recent releases these last couple weeks and I question Kishimoto's story especially in regards to the creation of Pein. Though I absolutely love when Hinata finally confessed her love to Naruto. I was like... HELL YEAH!

Master Magister Negima is a favorite of mine as well as just about any of CLAMP's work, especially Card Captor Sakura.

Bleach is always good, and Street Fighter is a passion of mine even though my ability in the game is lacking.

And Matty has a thread going already, *points to sig* feel free to join.

I'm going to pretend that Matty is finally opening up and feeling open enough to practice closer to the school and not so secluded of locations.

Hinata is one of my favorite characters! Neji, too. (It's the eyes. Awesome! <3)

I'm Linnea (or L). I'm a big anime/manga fan and am really interested in Japan in general (I was lucky enough to get to live there for a while as a student ambassador). Oh, yes, and CLAMP is amazing, although I prefer xxxHOLiC to CCS. Are you from the OC area, then? Because I've been to Anime Expo before as well and Anaheim is where I grew up. It's always good to get to meet someone from the same area as you. ^-^

<----this girl over here is my character, Abigail. They probably already know each other seeing as they're both third years. Abigail's an active, daring, tomboy with a penchant for adventure even if it means breaking a few school rules along the way. She loves Care of Magical Creatures and Transfiguration, but hates any other form of school work. I'm pretty busy this semester with college, but if you ever want to give Matty a friend her age, I'm up for some RPing.
