Georgina Dorsett - March 2, 2010 06:13 AM (GMT)
Although running did get the job done, it was definitely not Georgina's favorite mode of exercise. She would much rather be dancing or cheering, maybe even some gymnastics. Running was so...boring. So uninteresting and un-interative. With dancing you at least had music, and moves, and variety. Running was so bland. You just did the same old thing over and over. One foot in front of the other, on and on forever. The silence allowed the blond's mind to wander and think about all of the things she had been avoiding. Like what Wes did when he wasn't with her, and if he actually liked her as a person or just her body; how horrific her grades were bound to be; just what she would do if Wes was cheating on her, as some had suggested; and so on and so forth.

Maybe if the girl had an iPod or something it would not be so bad. It was so dumb that Muggle electronics did not work around the castle. Georgie couldn't wait for her dad to come up with a magical portable music player she could use. He had been testing one, but he couldn't get it to let you pick the music. It just kept playing Weird Sisters over and over again. Weird Sisters were fun and all, but the point of the iPod to get to listen to a variety of things. Although anything would be better than this silence. The thoughts that were popping into her head were not fun. This was why Georgina stayed so active, so she didn't end up thinking all the time. Thinking was dangerous.

Frustrated with her thoughts and where they were going the blond turned her head to look at her surroundings. She had run from the castle down to the pitch and was now making her way back, moving along the lake. It was rather pretty outside, despite the clouds threatening the present sunlight. In the distance the grey poofs could be seen, promising some chilly rain in the future. For now though it was sunny and just a tad wet from the melted snow. It was still cold out, but not enough to make Georgie overdress. Her tight black running capris and red lycra t-shirt were plenty to keep the girl warm as she moved through the moist air. It felt like it wanted to rain, but for now things were still dry.

Then, she saw him. Georgina had no idea who he was, what he was doing, where he was going. None of it mattered. All that mattered was that he was beautiful. She could tell from an instant she wanted to know him. There was no rhyme or reason to it; just that initial, primal attraction of one person to another. Georgie was smitten, enough so that she was staring. Bad idea. While the fifth year was busy ogling the anonymous hunk she missed the divot ahead of her in the grass. Stepping into it with her foot she fell forward, landing on her outstretched hands and bent right knee.

Well, this was embarrassing. Georgie had fallen, in the wet grass, in front of a really really cute guy. Unsure of what to do, and suffering from a hurt knee and hurt pride, the Gryffindor made no immediate attempt to get up. Her hands had clumps of yucky wet earth stuck to them along with some grass, and she was sure the same was on her knee that had taken the impact. Her knee didn't feel too good, and an involuntary moan of pain soon escaped her lips. Talk about a spectacular first impression.

Taylor Aven - March 2, 2010 06:41 AM (GMT)
The ominously dim clot of clouds in the background, hanging over the mountains, threatened to purge his rather beautiful yet damp day of its source of splendor. He would not have this, he had decided. It the clouds decided they were going to drown him today, he would have to return to the castle and charm the Hufflepuff common room to mock perfect nature… perhaps with out the sogginess. Taylor often walked about the grounds of Hogwarts, mainly because he was bored.

There was always someone to talk to eventually or something new to see around the castle. He disliked being so... quiet during the daytime. Everyone was to have so much energy, and there was always something to do; how could he force himself to stay locked up studying? No, no! Taylor Falan Aven would not stand to sit inside at all. He strolled through the courtyard, where a clump of Ravenclaws and some of his fellow Hufflepuff housemates were all gossiping; they were of the female persuasion, of course. He gave them all a friendly nod and smiled to them briefly. He could hear giggles and bits of whispers from their mouths as he walked through the large arch-way, leading to the grounds.

He breathed in the freshest air, feeling a cooling sensation in his chest. With his blue eyes, he scanned the lawns. He spotted the lake, one of his many favorite places to be. He rested his hands in his blue jean pockets at the very top of his thighs, near his pelvic bone, and slowly made his way toward the water. After he had showered this morning, he had crawled into a grey t-shirt he had found lying on the footboard of his bed; just before entering into the outside world, he had slipped into his favorite white hooded sweatshirt that zipped up the front. The slight breeze made it chilly, but not too cold for anyone. Nevertheless, he was comfortable as he strolled about, by himself.

As he approached the lake, his eyes fell upon a stunning young blond. His heart nearly stopped; she was breath-taking to him. He had never seen her around the castle. “Who could she be?” He whispered to himself, perfectly, and almost with out moving his lips. Despite her attire- composed of work out clothes- she was beautiful. He could have sworn their eyes had met, from afar, as she had spotted him too. Flashing his perfect, pearly-white smile to her, she could only stare. He had intended to either continue standing there, smiling at her like an idiot, or had intended to stand and wait for her to stop running; he had to talk to her. He had not even seen her for ten seconds and he already needed to talk to her.

His plan changed, upon seeing her fall. Instantly, he jogged over to her as quickly as his reflexes would allow him. Talyor bent down and balanced himself on one knee, and upon hearing her painful gasp, he moved to help her up. “Are you alright, miss?” He asked, already utterly worried about a complete stranger.

Georgina Dorsett - March 2, 2010 08:00 AM (GMT)
Georgina was confused, embarrassed, and somewhat happy as she heard an unfamiliar voice. Could this person asking if she was all right be her mystery guy? It would be nice, considering he was the reason she had fallen and all. Not that he had done it on purpose, but, it would be great of the fates to balance out like that. The fall would definitely be a lot less terrible if it had led to her getting to meet that guy.

With the help of the stranger the Gryffindor began to get up, moving her head so that she might look and see if the world was smiling on her today. It seemed that it was, for the cause of her fall was helping Georgie to her feet. The sight of him, his face, his self so close to her, took the breath right out of her fit little body. He was even more gorgeous up close. Seeing him like this almost made the stabbing pain in her knee worth it.

"Yeah, just a scrape or two," Georgina replied with a strained smile. Her knee protested angrily as she stood and put weight on it, causing the girl to shift and stand crooked. In an attempt to look casual the fifth year put a hand on her cocked hip and looked up at her rescuer, smile still in place. "I've done worse.

"Georgina Dorsett." The blond stuck her right hand out toward the boy confidently, a small bit of her bubbly air coming back into place now that she was standing. She was sure there was dirt and all sorts of rubbish on her clothes but it hardly mattered. He already knew she had fallen, how much worse could it get?

Taylor Aven - March 2, 2010 02:57 PM (GMT)
Were he anyone else, his first thoughts about this young lady might have been anything but what he was really thinking. Were he a normal human being with a heart of stone, he might have thought she was just some clumsy blond girl. But he was Taylor. She was beautiful. Her golden skin complimented her light blond locks. Her heart shaped face seemed to match her bubbly, happy voice.

He rose to his feet, and pulled his hands away after she had safely regained her balance on her own two feet. Having to look down at her because of a clear height difference about probably a good 10 inches, his eyes locked with hers. Had she not introduced herself almost immediately, he could have lost himself in her eyes. He shook his head, snapping back into reality. He took her hand and, in the most polite and sensitive way, raised it up to his mouth to touch his lips to her soft skin; with his greeting, he bowed his head ever so slightly. “It is my pleasure to meet you, Georgina Dorsett. I am Taylor Aven.” He had usually greeted beautiful girls in this way, and he meant nothing more by at it at first. Well, that was not true. Taylor was always trying to find that one love for him, and if that meant kissing girls’ hands upon first meeting, then by Merlin he would do it. If that was not his reason, there was always the charming factor.

”Are you sure you’re alright, though,” He asked once more, releasing her hand. “Looked like you took quite a nice fall. I don't have to carry you off to the infirmary or anything do I?" He flashed his nice set of pearly-white teeth to her, and chuckled slightly.

Georgina Dorsett - March 5, 2010 12:18 AM (GMT)
Georgina blushed happily when the mystery guy took her hand in his and kissed it instead of just shaking as expected. It was charming and sweet and gave him instant brownie points. For a moment the girl happily forgot that she had a boyfriend and looked at this boy with those wide searching eyes. He was handsome and kind and unexpectedly delightful. Was there anything about this guy that wasn't perfect?

Oh, add nice teeth to the list. Most British people did not have good teeth. It was a silly thing to think about, but Georgina liked straight white teeth. Maybe it was because she spent so much time in America, where everyone worried about those kinds of things. She herself had spent a few years in braces, much to the confusion of her classmates. It was well worth it though, because the girl now had a nice straight smile, and she took good care of her teeth. They were not quite as pearly as Taylor's, but they were whiter than most.

"I don't think I need to go the infirmary, but sitting down is probably a good idea." Georgina wasn't one to admit defeat, but her knee was starting to ache more than was comfortable. Not to mention her other leg was angry with her putting all of her weight on it. She knew why her knee was hurting, that was the leg she had broken. The knee had been finicky ever since the incident, but it had never been quite this bad before.

The blond took a step forward, attempting to see how much weight her knee would hold. Apparently not much, because as soon as she stepped down on it it gave way. Georgie tumbled forward in Taylor's direction, unable to stop herself. This poor guy was sure to think she was a terrible klutz.

Taylor Aven - March 5, 2010 12:36 AM (GMT)
“Are you sure?” He inquired to her opposition. He disliked people being stubborn, but he could understand it. This girl did not make him annoyed when she opposed his offer, though. His smile grew slightly wider when he noticed her cheeks growing pink. The look she gave him was adorable, he had to admit; his heart beat sped up with their eyes met once more. Deep with in his heart, he could feel something write about them meeting, but he did not want to get his hopes up just yet.

Taylor could tell she was uneasy standing, so he started to offer his arm to her. Before he could extend his arm out far enough and sound out the words, the blond began to fall toward him. It happened almost in slow motion for him. Her hair was falling slower than she was, and her face headed straight for his chest. He put out both arms to catch her, to hopefully prevent any further injury.

When he caught her, he could not sustain his balance. He held onto her as they began to fall to the ground in unison. Hitting the damp lawn, Taylor could feel the mud and water from beneath the grass soaking into his sweatshirt and t-shirt, as well as the seat of his pants. He began laughing and looked down at her; she was clumsy… he liked that. “Or you could lie down,” He laughed, in response to her bit about sitting down.

Georgina Dorsett - March 5, 2010 02:15 AM (GMT)
Well Taylor caught her. Too bad he couldn't keep his own balance too. Georgie could not believe it when they hit the ground together, her body landing atop his in a very suggestive position. In most circumstances this would be fun, lying on top of a cute boy. Talk about a good situation for flirting.

Although Georgina understood the general rule to be that once in a relationship you were not to flirt with anyone else, the Gryffindor decided she was going to ignore that. Wesley knew she was his, why did it matter if she flirted a little with this guy? It was innocent. As long as she made sure to tell him she had a boyfriend everything should be fine. Why couldn't she have a flirty guy friend?

The blond smiled at her new friend's comment. At least he had a good sense of humor about the whole thing. Good thing, considering he had just landed in wet grass with his nice white hoodie. Well, it was already wrecked for the moment, plus the house elves could fix it up in no time. No reason to get up right away.

"Yes, I think my body was telling me it wanted to lie down," Georgie responded with a playful smile She pushed herself up slightly with her arms, one hand on the ground on either side of Taylor. "Oh no! I got you all dirty." The Gryffindor looked down at Taylor, seeing the filth on his front from her clothes. Her face held a mixture of sadness, worry, and embarrassment as she looked back up at the boy. She wasn't sure why she was so worried about him being dirty, but it seemed like the right thing to do at the moment.

Taylor Aven - March 5, 2010 02:47 AM (GMT)
The mushy dirt continued to soak further in between the cotton strands of his clothing, and the jean material of his pants, but he could not really complain. Though he was not one for improper suggestiveness, the tone of her voice and the look in her eyes had the potential to drive him insane. She had to be taken. She was too.. perfect to be running about Hogwarts- even the world- with out a significant other. This Georgina Dorsett would be able to have any man wrapped around her pretty little golden finger.

He could not help himself, though; even if she was taken, she was flirting with him. He winked to her after she commented on getting him dirty. "No worries," He spoke with a smooth smile. "Meeting you definitely trumps being covered in mud." He laid still, looking up at her. For the moment, he could care less about her being taken.

Quite settled in the mud at the moment, he propped himself into a slight angle by allowing his elbows to settle into the mud as well. He did not just look up at her, he did not sate, he gazed at the golden angel atop him. This must be my lucky day...

Georgina Dorsett - March 21, 2010 08:55 PM (GMT)
[sorry sorry sorry!]

Lower lip secure between her teeth Georgina smiled. Taylor’s comment was enough to brighten her entire face. Add it to his tone, his cute looks, his perfect delivery, and you had a killer combination that could make the Gryffindor blush all day. She quickly looked away from the boy, slightly embarassed by how red she was. Pull yourself together Georgie. He’s just a cute boy, be cool.

That miniscule pep talk was enough to yank the blond back from her fantasy land and into the here and now. She looked back at the boy she was lying atop, who was not her boyfriend, and began pushing herself off to the side. With a roll Georgina was on her bum beside Taylor, and her knee thanked her for the chance to rest on the ground. With a smile she turned to look at the boy.

"There, my knee likes that much better. So how come I've never seen you before?" It was an innocent enough question, even if the Gryffindor did ask it quite flirtily. Just about everything Georgina did around boys was considered flirty. She just couldn't help it. There was something innate in her personality that made her come off that way.

Taylor Aven - March 21, 2010 10:07 PM (GMT)
He continued to hold himself by his elbows and forearms. His eyes were attached to her it seemed. Taylor could not stop staring. It’s not rude if she is absolutely breath-taking. He had managed to convince himself that it was perfectly fine for his eyeballs to be glued to the sight. When she rolled off top of him, he had to admit inwardly he was pretty saddened, but refused to let it get him down.

Gazing up at the sky after she was situated just beside of him, Taylor sighed contently. What could make this day any better? Well, there were perhaps a few fanciful theories as the answers to that question, but he better not get his hopes up too high.

“I don’t know really,” He answered. “Perhaps you’ve been too busy to notice a rather unimportant fellow as myself.” Taylor angled his head toward her once more. “I guess I have no room to talk either, I suppose. I cannot believe I’ve never sat eyes upon you before. To which house do you belong?” Of course, even if she had said Hufflepuff, it was most likely he had missed meeting her as well.

(nooo problem (: i am patient!)

Georgina Dorsett - March 21, 2010 11:08 PM (GMT)
[well that's a good way to be if you're rping with me, lol]

"You're not unimportant!" the blond blurted out before giving herself time to think about it. To cover her tracks Georgie smiled at Taylor, letting him think she had meant to say that all along. It wasn't the worst thing to say, but it was definitely more of a lead on than she would have preferred. Oh well, it would be fine.

There was that sweet talk again. This guy was so smooth. It was probably good they had never run into each other before, Georgina was sure to have melted into a pool. Luckily for her Wes had toughened her skin a bit. Reeling him in had taken some serious work, and the fifth year was all the more crafty because of it.

"What house do you think I belong to?" the blond asked lightheartedly. There was a cheery smile on her face that said she was enjoying herself. It wasn't exactly a stretch to figure out what house Georgina Dorsett was in, but it was so much more fun to make Taylor guess. What fun is life when all the answers are handed to you?

Taylor Aven - March 21, 2010 11:32 PM (GMT)

Oh, how he enjoyed little guessing games. As he thought for a moment, he climbed to his feet. Taylor pulled his wand from his back pant pocket and flicked it once, clearing stating "Scourgify" before he was done with the motion. All of his clothes were free of the dirt, water, and mud. "All better," He felt clean once more. "Now... as for your house." He looked down at her, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Well, your unusually gorgeous..." Taylor pretended to think, though the words flew off his tongue with easy. "And very daring- because I honestly do not know any other Gryffindor who would sit in the muddy grass like that." He crouched down in front of her, with his still-glaring smile ever present on his lips.

At the current moment, Taylor could not quite figure out what he had to do: continue wooing her? Continue flirting?Or shall he give up? He knew there had to be some sort of catch, he just knew it.

Georgina Dorsett - March 22, 2010 09:42 PM (GMT)
Georgina stayed in her place as Taylor stood and whipped out his wand. Her own wand was upstairs in her dorm room, safely tucked away in that gawky trunk at the foot of her bed. Chances of needing it during a jog were slim, and there really wasn't a good place to put it anyway. Besides, Georgie wasn't one to result to magic unless it was absolutely necessary or really fun. So the blond remained speckled with dirt and grass and grossness, sitting in the mud.

Looking up at the boy the blond smiled. A giggle floated up from her when Taylor called her 'unusually gorgeous.' He was being quite generous with his compliments to her, and she definitely didn't mind. Her smile widened when he knelt down before her, calling her out for the Gryffindor she was.

"Well you just have me all figured out, don't you?" Georgie asked, eyebrows up in an inquisitive expression. She leaned her torso closer to Taylor, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "What else do you know?"

Taylor Aven - March 24, 2010 02:30 PM (GMT)
He was used to carrying his wand about, almost wherever he went- and just for cases such as this. There were other cases he might have needed it, such as defensive reasons, but Taylor liked to think a little more optimistic than that. She was still covered in dirt, Georgina was; she really must have been uncomfortable. “Would you like some help?” He chuckled. She could not honestly be comfortable.

“What else have I figured out? Hmm…” He looked off at the nature around them, thinking for a brief moment. His smiled turned into more of a smirk as he landed atop an answer for her. “You obviously are just as clumsy as I am.” Alright, so it wasn’t the most suave of comments, but Taylor remained playful.
