xDD Hahaha, my poor character. He's already got enough things to worry about when it comes to his image (he literally is a pretty boy, I'm so mean) then on top of it his name. I'd feel bad for him if I didn't find it so funny, and fun to make my character a spiteful bastard.

If they met under different circumstances, he might've been friendlier towards her. xD ._. I've been trying to draw my own header but it's not working right now so I'll probably just hold off on one then try again later.

At least you can manipulate your character. Alcyone's very intractable. She'll never do anything I want her to do and it's pissing me off :angry:

Boyd here is a Draco except not. So he'll probabbly write very much like a prick. Which can be good entertainment, if you like to slap people or the monitor alot.

Those just happen to be two of my favourite past times, actually. lol. xDD I will admit though, I don't mind asshole-like characters at all, in fact Malfoy is probably one of my favourite characters from HP.

Aw, I'm sure you can do things with Alcyone...and I think she's far from a Mary Sue if I ever heard one. For one thing, have you ever seen a Mary Sue that sounds like they know what they're talking about?

Icee, maybe she could have had dyslexia has a child or something? I know that'd be changing your char's history a bit, but then she could be extremely insecure about her grades, even though she does really well? Or have parents who pressure her to do better than she does? So she'd be really anxious about the future and stuff. O.o Iunno, that might be changing her a bit too much.

Blair, I don't want to change her history - apart from the fact that I really wish I hadn't killed off the father (such a cliched thing to do) Anyway I want her to have a stable domestic life and a supportive mother.

I was thinking about making her more tightly wound up and anal, with an deep fear of failure and imperfection, but it's going to take a lot of effort to do it successfully. Right now, she just seems a little one-dimensional.

Rude and blunt? No. Sarcastic? She is, on occasion, but not very successfully so. When she does manage to come up with a suitably ironic comment, she thinks it's a good thing.
Possessive and jealous? Interesting. I've just never played Alcyone in a close relationship with anyone so I don't know how she'd act.

She's a little fickle already, I think. She's also pretty whiny - she's always moaning about something or the other. Clueless? Yeah, she's pretty clueless I guess. The last three aren't major enough to count as important flaws.

Lazy? Alcyone?? Never!!

Ohh, but then Blair won't like her as much. :/ Well, I think she'd still be a really interesting character, and I'd like her.

She could be schizophrenic.

Hehe. No, I actually want her to be a sane and stable person. Which is why I'm hesitant of giving her any neuroses including the really anal nature.

I don't think so. I'm already playing a character who's more like myself and has all my flaws and I want to keep Alcyone distinct.
