Why you feel that you should move up: I've proven myself to you time and again. I'm active, I have an individual plot I move along, I help new members with their profiles, and I can work with people.

Why you feel that you should move up: Besides my unhealthy competitiveness? ^_- Well, I think I've been able to work at getting my 'writer-mind' pulled out of the maelstrom of stress going on here, and I'm having fun with it. I feel that Broken Glass is some of my best work here in a long time.

Jax, your writing style is delicious. xD I love that word. It flows, its easy to read, and I hardly ever see a grammar or spelling error. I can weave through with a fine-tooth comb..and yeah...uberly impressed.

Why you feel that you should move up: I've been working on RPing with new people, and it's fun. One thing is getting Tycho over his own elitism while staying true to his character- it's been interesting seeing him trying to re-establish himself as an authority despite having no official status. I've also been looking for tiny characterizing details that I can use to define Tycho on a personal level- like his habit of chewing his quills, his preference for soymilk, and carrying a multitool.

I also like playing the mini-character of Johannes Frey, even if people don't seem to get that he's prematurely white-haired (like my little sister!), not old. As an off-topic question, can I write him up and put him in the teacher/staff area?

While reading yours {Like Eol's} posts, etc, I don't find anything major enough for me to comment on. So! You have my approval. :)

Why you feel that you should move up:
Hmm, I've been working on a few things lately. First and foremost, I've been trying to initiate threads/RP (after noticing I had a disproportionately small amount of RP starts), and doing it with new people- Seamus, Diana, Zach, and Caitriona. Broken Glass has been possibly the most deep character study thread I've done in a long time, and the fact that it's continued and grown to this point (even slowly) testifies to that. Also, I deeply enjoyed playing with both the imagery and the entirely creepy vision of RandomViolence!Tycho we hadn't yet seen in game, despite the insistence in his profile that it happens more often than you'd be led to believe.

Hey, I know you guys have been seriously swamped, and it looks like you might need a hand with the review staff. I'd love to help you out- constructive RP critique is something I just like to do, and I want to be able to give back to the site- hence why I'm posting this early. Feel free to save it until after I've advanced to Advanced and waited a while, but if you need the help now, here's the topics you'd need.

I definitely approve your move to Advanced status. You have a rare gift for describing the physicality of a character who moves the way Tycho does. Even if I didn't have such a close roleplaying relationship with you, I would be very very impressed. This is a very small nitpick, but you have the same occasional problem that I have with pronouns. When I roleplay with someone whose character is the same gender as mine, it's very clear in my head which one I'm talking about, but it might not be so clear to someone reading it. Your posts flow nicely enough that it's almost never a problem, though. I love your use of comedy and idiom.

The small details are brilliant, especially because you keep them so consistent. Also I think I like it just because I like soymilk. I approve you to move up to Advanced--don't have the authority to talk about Elite, but I see no real hindrances for you moving up there, either. ^_____^

You don't really need another approval, but I thought I'd chime in - I think we'll just have you wait till you're at Elite. I'm pretty sure you'll be there soon enough anyway, and things are slowing down a little bit now. ^__^ Moving you to advanced now!

Okay, first off, RandomViolence!Tycho has been making my day for the past four. It's a testament to your RPing skills that I didn't feel like that part was missing, but an even stronger one that I feel like you absolutely must keep it there!

Because I can't see the one in your common room, I looked over 'proving the sex theorem' (http://wizardingrealm.net/index.php?showtopic=6810) instead, and I was really impressed with your ability to describe Animagus senses.

In Chalk It Up To My Anger, I liked Tycho's on-the-spot Potions mastery, but I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more length. Even if you're mirror posting, I was left hanging for more.

That Old Black Magic made me one happy musician, and I got a non-musical sister to read it and tell me what was going on just to see that it wasn't too technical--something I have a major problem with doing. It seems we don't share that weakness, though. ^^

I think I've told you before what I think about Broken Glass, so I will cut this short.

Overall, I definitely approve your move up to Elite. Congratulations! You've earned it.

Forgive me for my snarky ways but, last I checked wasn't it two weeks before advances, not three days? While I'm not here to give a review I'm putting my foot down on this and requesting that you wait.

So no, you do not have my approval to move up to Elite. And this is no personal bias towards you, just me finding that it's ridiculous to start moving people three days after they'd already been moved. I think a little more time should be spent considering it's an Elite status.

And yeah, I know you're allowed to re-apply today.

Hey Jax, sorry for the wait. I really appreciate you being patient. We revised how people become elites. It is now based soley on what the Squad feels should happen, rather than having three reviews and what-not.

So, with that said, would you still like to become an elite? :) We'd like to have you if you do.
