Physical Appearance:
Jaakko is a skinny, lanky fellow of six feet and no more than 110 pounds. He is pale, to the point where it would seem to the casual observer that each of his veins stand out proudly as blue lines on his skin, though many of these lines he's probably drawn himself in a fit of boredom (see personality). His dark, dirty blond hair is best identified as being a mop top, though it is mroe correctly just unkempt and pretty poorly taken care of. He has dark blue eyes that never look troubled in any way. His gaunt face has been cursed (not literally) with a plethora of acne, which is not concentrated anywhere, causing his forehead, cheeks, chin, and even nose to appear bombarded with spots and scars from spots.
Personality:
Jaakko is rather eccentric; actually, let me rephrase that: Jaakko is a bleeding lunatic. His actions have little, if any, pattern, except for being generally harmless and good-natured. He has been known to do anything from drawing blue lines on his skin to resemble veins (see physical appearance) to hiding in baskets for hours, and even days, for God knows what reason. He is generally outgoing, and doesn't seem at all concerned with his appearance.
One outstanding detail about Jaakko's personality is his love for reggae music, particularly that of a Barrington Levy, whom he baselessly claims is, in fact, a half-blood wizard. He will often sing, or at least hum, tunes of this genre, and enjoys talking about it extensively.
Character Background:
As his name and thick accent implies, Jaakko is Finnish. His parents were both wizards in Lapland, Finland, and it is probably from them that he has inherited his uncommon nature. His parents are both alchemists of modest fame back in Finland, which of course means no-one has ever heard of them in Britain. Until he was thirteen he went to a Finnish wizarding school, in which he excelled at alchemy, like his parents did in their time, but his parents decided to move to England for a variety reasons (none of which would make sense to even remotely sane people) and sent Jaakko, now fourteen, to Hogwarts.
