Physical Appearance: Evangelina is 1.70 cm tall. She is slender and of slight building. Her hands and feet are small and feminine - too some maybe even childish.Her chest is not big but she does have assets.A firm B cup. She weighs about 50 - 55kg and her hair which is naturally the same color as ink reaches down to the middle of her back, currently it is dyed a darkish red. Her face is pretty, Eyes almond formed and big,so dark they could be mistaken as black and surrounded by long curly lashes. Her nose is somewhat small, a bit upturned but it matches her face. She is naturally a bit pale, her skin creamy color. Her mouth is small and the lips are full and soft-looking, her lips are also one of the things she finds pretty about herself. Though she hates her height and thinks her weight is embarrassing - she is not underweight, Her BMI is average,though low end. But she does not have much muscle to weigh her down. She IS after all part Asian and quite a few of them weigh around the same she does. So it is not that she is anorexic or sickly! At all! In fact..The girl loves to eat but her love of dancing and the constant marching around Hogwarts keeps her BMI somewhat in check.
Personality: Evangeline is kind of like a double edged sword. She doesn't really care what you think of her. She doesn't care if your black,white, asian, fat,skinny or blue if that was case - If you are nice to her - She will be nice to you or at least polite - if you are stupid/ignorant/intolerant that feat may just be invalid .She is brutally honest - Having always been taught that lying is beneath her. But of course not everything is to be shared. She has minor trust issues that won't allow her to let people come close to her just like
that. She hates whining, stupidity and ignorance.
She prefers to have the knowledge before judging. She hates gossip.Her opinions of punishments of vile criminals are a bit over the top but generally she is a good person.Just..don't piss her off cause have hell to pay as Ever has the temper of a dragon, it just a bit more for her to get angry. She is ambitious, she sets high standards for herself - her good grades are a must for her self-confidence. She wants high grades so that she can do well in whatever career she chooses - she isn't sure what kind of career she wants yet though.
She is usually a bubbly person who loves to to just enjoy life and the pleasures it has. She likes to read. She loves to learn. Languages in particular and she has a soft spot ofr her roots in Asia. She looves to party as well!
Her favorite movies are Hard Candy and I spit on Your Grave which she sat laughing and giggling to when she watched the movies along with two friends of hers. The male had been horrified and her female friend been shaking her head and muttering about crazy girl going wild. Or in fact they aren't her favorites. Its Disney movies still but Ever finds it a bit embarrassing so she just mention the above cause she likes them too.
Oh, and Evangeline is in no way a coward. That she knows to pick her fights is one thing but standing up for herself and her friends is what she does the most. She isn't afraid of standing out and she won't let anybody walk over her.
Even if she seems as if she's a cold-hearted girl - that's not true. Evangeline doesn't come to trust easily but she cares and those whom she love are protected fiercely with all she has. And she is very sweet girl who loves to hug and be nice and she does have feelings! She just tends to hide them behind a mask of boredom.
Character Background: Ever was conceived on accident. Her father, an English pure blooded wizard and a successful Ministry official had gone on a holiday in Japan - escaping the strict and tense air within the Northbrook household. For once letting go and just
enjoying life . Within the club Nathaniel Northbrook met Mei Johnson, a half Japanese/Half English pureblood witch. The two had a connection, partied the evening away and parted the next morning after a very satisfying night.
Mei was a Healer for the Japanese Wizard World and she was a frequent party-participant. The Johnson family consisted of Mei's mother, and little sister.They lived in the good part of Tokyo, the oldest two working diligently in their fairly high positions and the youngest daughter off on the Japanese School for young Witches and Wizards.
About two months after Mei and Nathaniel's fateful night, Mei found out that she was carrying Evangelina. The 23 year old was horrified, she had been certain that they both had been cautious about the whole ordeal but apparently something had gone wrong and she was carrying the child of a man she only just knew the name of. Mei though about abortion, but simply could not bring herself to strangle the life she carried within her womb. Thus she went to her mother for advice. The older woman took it all in stride, of course she was disappointed in her daughter but she also acknowledged that her daughter was only human and that mistakes happen.
Mei's mother advised her to contact the father of the child but Mei was reluctant, fearing that he would demand that she aborted the child. They compromised and thus it became that after the birth of Ever - Mei would alert Nathaniel of her existence.
7 months later, shortly after he had entered a relationship with a colleague,Nathaniel received a letter from Mei. He was absolutely flabbergasted at the news of him having fathered a child. A little girl. Unknowing of what to do - he found himself forced to inform his parents. The strict and traditional pair threw a fit and poor Nathaniel was almost cast out off the the family. But eventually they calmed but only at the promise of him marrying the woman, he had impregnated.
Thus Nathaniel traveled to Tokyo, to meet hid daughter for the first time. The second meeting between Mei and Nathaniel was
very awkward. And Mei was both terrified and relieved of the marriage contract that was to be made between them. A small wedding was held and Mei, Her mother Fumiko and little sister Aiko was introduced to the Northbrooks, shortly after the little family moved to England to be close to Mei and little Evangeline.
Evangeline grew up in a much less restrictive home than her father did. Even though the Northbrook family had not changed much, Mei was adamant on not smothering little Ever. Evangeline grew up finely. The child was curios and eager to please those close to her. She had accidently released all the House-Elfs after having given each and everyone of them a piece of cloth cause she was horrified that they so little and all they ever did was serve.
Although Everything seemed like it was 'picture perfect' - that was not the whole truth. Ever's parents fought like and dog. The two argued heatedly and things were thrown at each-other, cruel words thrown around carelessly. They had chemistry,oh yes - but they were like night and day and it was rare they could agree. Mei was loved by her parents, by her grandparents and by her Aunt - but she was always blaming herself for the misery her mother lived in.
Her mother was an independent woman, who had worked her way to the position that she had to resign from when she married Nathaniel. She would not tolerate being treated as if she was less than he, she would not be treated like property. That was nonetheless how Nathaniel was raised and he was angered by disobedience. So by the time Ever was 7 - her mother was but a shadow of the women she had once been.
It was at her eighth birthday that Evangeline used magic for the first time. Her fathers uncle and his wife was talking about her, saying all kinds of horrible things that brought tears to the young girl's eyes but when they mentioned her mother - her temper flared and she screamed at them and the two of them was sent halfway through the hall, not having the time to react to her.
Nathaniel's father had been watching the whole ordeal and he could only grin at the sight of the enraged little girl screeching and cursing at her relatives in a mix of English and Japanese. He walked into the hall, threw a disapproving glance at his wife's brother and wife before she patted Evangeline's dark curls and scooped her up into his arms, walking to his study calmly. He calmed her, let her spill her childish fears and sorrows to him and the two made a promise. She was not to use such crude words as she had used at her relatives and then he would promise to talk to her parents and figure it out.
Half a year later, Mei moved out of the mansion. Still married to Nathaniel - but not living with him. Evangeline lived at the mansion still, but Mei came by often to be with her little girl.
At age 9, Ever's grandmother on her father side died. This was her first meeting with cold and cruel hand of death. She was doing remarkably well with tutors but she was shy around strangers and therefore she had few friends.
At age 11 Evangelina received her letter from Hogwarts.

Roleplay Sample: Ever tilted her head to the right as she stared out her window curiously, the sky was grey, still darkening and there had been promised rain, something she could barely wait for. She had,just a few moments ago, been immersed in her studies of Transfiguration, but now that she was almost done she had become restless. She really wasn't good at sitting still unless when she was reading or watching movies. Things like homework had her restless after maybe half an hour. The girl let out a sigh and leaned back into the chair as she simultaneously pushed the heavy book, on the table further away from her, as she stretched, giving out a small moan of contentment. At the sound of soft thuds against the window, Evangeline turned her head watched the small droplets of water rolling down the window - creating small watery patterns of their own.
She jumped up, abandoning her homework for now and sprinted through the room, down the stairs and out of the building in her eagerness. Giggling happily as she stood in the open, staring up at the skies with eyes big in wonder, tongue stuck out as to catch the small droplets, taste the wondrous little beads. Just like that she stood for a while, but she was jolted out of her happy enjoyment at the sound of heavy footsteps coming and she turned her head and looked upon the person nearing her with cautiousness before her face lit up in a polite smile and she raised her small hand and waved : " Oh, Hello!" She greeted politely as she watched the stranger curiously.
