Cosimia Spiros has been Nenet’s friend for longer than the girl could remember. They had been introduced somehow, perhaps some kind of play date. Apparently the two had hit it off since an early age because Nenet could remember being a little girl and spending summers at Cosimia’s house. Their mothers got on like a house on fire, they too had hit it off long before the girls had. As far as Nenet could remember, Roshana enjoyed spending her father’s money and not working.

Two things she had in common with Mrs. Spiros. It also helped that their mothers seemed to always use their daughters as dolls, choosing outfits for them until the two young witches had grown into their bodies and developed enough of that sense to somewhat dress themselves. Cosimia followed that guidance a little more closely than Nenet, who often like how town tights looked along the long curves of her legs. She enjoyed tight fitting dresses that accented the curvature of her hips and rounded off nicely all the way down. While Cosimia enjoyed the same type of attention and always wore dazzling outfits which the Ahmadi family had always been sure to compliment with the proper kind of jewelry.

It was because of this that the witch had given her childhood friend a lucky charm in the shape of a ring fashioned into a crown. As far as Nenet was concerned, Cosi was Queen of whatever she wanted to be. If Cosimia wanted to be the Queen of Disaster, then she would look fabulous doing so. When her blonde friend moved away, Nenet had been crushed by the distance placed between them. She’d written to the other witch, had told her about the anger and the things she had discovered regarding Roshana’s infidelity. Part of the reason Nenet had come with her father also had to do with the fact that she’d be transferring into the same boarding school as Cosi.

So far the two hadn’t crossed paths, but that could have been because the start of winter term had them settling back into routine after certain holidays. Nenet had made the trip up the shifting staircases towards the Ravenclaw tower only to be deterred by a stupid riddle. She should have known better, but figured someone would come along eventually for her to charm. No one had and she’d gotten impatient enough that she’d decided to look elsewhere. Dark, somber eyes looked at the passing students, each blonde head prompting her hopes to perk up and then flounder. Plush lips pressed together in mild irritation, her uniform skirts swishing against her thighs and the sound of her boots seeming angry as the click-clacked along.

Fortunately the dark haired witch knew Cosimia’s habits and if she wasn’t in classes or in the tower then there was another place she could look. The people in the broom closet might have been surprised as she yanked the door open and caught them tangled up in each other. Some seemed startled that she’d stumbled on what looked to be a less than legal transaction. Others were in different stages of undress. Not that she faulted any of them, but at one point she’d paused long enough to recognize a pair and only smirked before closing the door again. Long fingers ran through the mane of dark hair, pushing the silky strands over a shoulder. She was at door number seven and quickly losing hope. Even the sound of the door being pried open didn’t stop them from locking lips. Nenet’s red-brown eyes moved over the small feminine figure and her red lacquered nails hooked onto the collar of the boy’s shirt. “Sorry babe, time’s up on your seven minutes in heaven.” Her voice was a low, sultry caress, the accent making the words sound more exotic than they actually were.

There was a protest coming from the boy’s lips, his face handsome but rather unremarkable. Nenet’s nail pressed to his parted, protesting lips as she smirked. “I said time’s up. Be a good boy and run along.” Her fingers closed around his shirt, and she straightened it; sliding her leg between both of his as if she were going to pin him to the wall. Her hips shifted and their close bodies pivoted. Then, when his back was to the door, she placed her hands on his chest and shoved him out; pulling the door closed behind him.

Elektra Spiros was a complicated woman, but one thing was for sure; she expects the best for her only daughter, Cosimia Spiros. When the Ahmadi's were tracked on the Spiros radar, Elektra quickly went to work on building a relationship with the Mrs, and in turn, pushing a friendship onto Cosimia and Nenet Ahmadi. Even though it was planned from the beginning, with numerous play dates and gatherings, the two girls got along very well. Both of the girls knew what it meant to be wined and dined by their mothers, thrown into various outfits and situations that they so choose, and they bonded over that. They both had their disagreements with their mothers, but in the end, they were right on setting the two girls up. When Nenet moved away, Cosimia was slightly upset, wondering if she would ever see the dark haired beauty again. It was fun having another girl to join her and her mother on their shopping trips around the world. Elektra would talk to Roshana, and Cosimia would talk to Nenet. It worked.

Cosimia didn't know that Nenet had transferred to Hogwarts, nor was it something that she considered looking into. She assumed that she would see Nenet shortly, especially with another one of the famous Spiros Events coming up. The Ahmadi's were always invited, so were the Amar-sin's and other families that Elektra and Leo Spiros held in high regard. She had seen the girl multiple times since their childhood, but they hadn't really spent much time since then. Their lives were thrown into two different directions, at least, up until down.

The sea creature was hungry, this particular winter evening, but not in the sense of food or treats. After spending the better part of the week making flirtatious eye contact with a particular Hufflepuff 6th year that she passed by in the hallway, she had finally decided to pounce. Instead of walking past him for the fifth day in a row, with a flirtatious wink or a sultry touch of her hand, Cosimia grabbed him and pulled him into the nearest closet. Of course he could fight back, and push her away, but she knew he wouldn't. This is what they both wanted. And when Cosimia wanted something, she took it.

It didn't last long before the door flew open, and Cosimia's lips parted from the boy's. She kept her left hand entwined in his messy dirty blonde hair, before turning to the intruder. "Do you mind?" She said, before realizing who was infront of her. She dropped her hand and placed both of them on her hips, a smirk appearing on her devilish face. "Well well. well," the sea creature coed. Her evil grin widened as she watched Nenet throw the boy out, no longer mad that she had interrupted. "Should have listened!" She called out to the huffelpuff, and chuckle escaping her lips when she heard the obvious thud, that was his body crashing on the ground.

"Nenet Ahmadi, well aren't you a sight for sore eyes." Cosimia grinned at her dark haired friend. She fixed her skirt, which had pulled up at the hands of the Hufflepuff boy. "I wish I knew his name, he was a good kisser." She narrowed her eyes at Nenet, smirking once more. "You didn't want a go at it, did you? You're beautiful dear, but not my type." A wink. A laugh. Yes, this was fun.

Getting rid of boys had never really been a problem for Nenet. It was always comical afterwards how she would dust her hands off, as if she'd been doing hard labor and not just pushing malleable flesh attached to bones out of the way for a few seconds. The raven haired witch did the same thing now, hands dusting off as her palms collided with one another, a smirk on her face. "Oh shut up and give me a hug." She knew that Cosimia wouldn't take it as a command or as a put-down. No one told her friend to shut up and if they did then there was a very high chance that the viper's fangs would come out. No one wanted that, well, no one except maybe Nenet.

Without hesitation the darker skinned of the two girls pulled the pale witch into a tight hug. Her fingers grazing the soft tendrils of Cosimia's hair before they wrapped around her Greek friend's shoulders. "You've been saying things like that since we were kids. I'm starting to think you're the one who wants a go at it." It was so strange to have this friend in her arms again, the smell of the sea still clung to the blonde though they were miles away from any sea port. The seas here didn't quite smell like the ones in Greece, and she could picture only the clear, crystalline waters spreading out under an expanse, clear sky. Of course Cosimia wasn't the only star of Nenet's thoughts, more often than not the sight of the Spiros girl conjured up a ghostly image of her twin right beside her.

For as long as Nenet could remember, Cosimia and Apollo had been an inseparable unit, up until they had been separated. Perhaps it was because of this void that Nenet still held onto her friend, even though the proper time for hugs to last had come and gone. Something about seeing only one of a pair made her heart ache in ways that only her friend could manage. No one else had made her feel such pain, at least not until the boy had betrayed her with his secrets. Yet that thought was not for now. Right now she needed the sea creature. Things had been hard those first few weeks, weeks in which Nenet developed a certain habit for when days got particularly bad. The first time it had happened no one had known, and she tried to keep it that way. Tried to keep the deep scarring marks left behind by Roshana's betrayal.

Finally she pulled away, looked her fellow witch once over and smiled like she hadn't smiled for weeks. "I'm sure you'll find him again. Or I'll deliver him to your bird's nest," she said playfully ,tracing the outline of the Ravenclaw emblem on her fried's clothing. Her fingers immediately sought their way to Cosimia's, twining there and giving her hands a reassuring squeeze. "I've missed you terribly. I see the Hogwarts boys are welcoming you just fine, but what about the rest of the school?" She wanted to know what had been happening, wanted to tell Cosimia why she was here now. Or at least why she thought she was here. It was always difficult to get a read on Nenet, she always kept things to herself; not because she wanted to be mysterious or secretive, but more because she always knew when the proper time to speak was.

Seeing her act out of character was strange. The girl enjoyed her money, let it be known at any point in time she enjoyed jewelry but didn't tell anyone she also loved to craft. Very few in a circle of very small friends and acquaintances knew of her love for craft. Nenet always seemed to gravitate towards the damaged, towards the people that put themselves back together again with all the sharp edges showing. She was not afraid to enter and be a part of their world, and she was most certainly not apologetic about ever being monstrous.
