Centaurs, schmentaurs. Who gave hippogriff's tailfeather whether or not there were centaurs running around? The fact of the matter was the Pride of Portree was currently in the semi-finals against the the Wigtown Wanderers, and blizzard or not, Kieran had to listen to the game. Not that he was a Portree fan, don't anyone make that assumption. He was an Arrows man all the way. However, he'd developed a kinship to Tam Findlay, and the younger lion was a Prides fan through and through. Kieran was more than willing to support his team - as long as they weren't playing the Arrows. One of the necessary school supplies Kieran had gotten a few years ago had been a Wizarding radio to listen to all of his quidditch matches, and the magical appliance had been more than worth it, especially when it came to bonding with Tam. When Pride of Portree's record sent them to the playoff's, The brunette had promised his faux sibling full use of the radio, and so the two were now crowded around it, trying to make out the broadcast through the static.

However, as good as the blizzard was for keeping students inside, it was as good as keeping the radio waves out. They could only make out perhaps every fourth word, and so in a fit of desperation, the two lions set out through the corridors to attempt to find the best location for the signal. Occasionally, the signal would get really strong, and they could hear the announcers detailing an incredible interception or expressing their anger at a blatant foul. Somewhere in the middle of a hallways on the second floor, they finally found a good spot, long enough to hear that Portree had scored, leading the game seventy to forty. Ki let out a loud cheer, forgetting completely that silence was preferable to not attract any danger. Before they get involved in the game again, the static overtook the broadcast again, leaving Kieran feeling frustrated. With a sigh, he grabbed the radio again, and set off down the stairs. "Let's try the great hall or something," he grunted, ready to spike the stupid machine on the ground if it refused to work for him.
